1. Introduction

This application (“we”, “our”, “the App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. By using the App, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Data you provide

The App stores the following data that you voluntarily enter:

• Expense data: amount, title, notes, date and time of expenses
• Category selections: the categories you assign to expenses
• Mood tags: the mood you associate with each expense
• Budget settings: daily, weekly or monthly budget amounts
• Currency preference: your selected currency
• Notification preferences: your reminder time settings

2.2 Data we do NOT collect

• We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any personal identification
• We do not require account creation or login
• We do not collect location data
• We do not collect device identifiers for tracking
• We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs
• We do not access your contacts, photos, or other apps

3. How Your Data Is Stored

3.1 Local storage (all users)

All your expense data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s Core Data framework. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable iCloud Sync (a Pro feature).

3.2 iCloud Sync (Pro users only)

If you subscribe to the Pro subscription and enable iCloud Sync:

• Your data syncs across your Apple devices using Apple’s CloudKit framework
• Data is stored in your personal iCloud account, not on our servers
• Data is encrypted by Apple
• We do not have access to your iCloud data
• Sync uses your personal iCloud storage quota

3.3 No third-party servers

The App does not operate any servers. We do not transmit, store, or process your data on any external servers. All data processing occurs entirely on your device.

4. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to:

• Display your expense history and reports within the App
• Calculate budget progress, spending streaks, and financial insights
• Generate on-device analytics (mood analysis, spending trends)
• Send local notification reminders, if you enable them

We do not use your data for advertising or marketing, profiling or behavioural tracking, selling to third parties, or any purpose other than providing App functionality.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with any third party. No data is shared with advertisers, analytics providers or data brokers, and no data is transmitted to our servers — we have none.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

6.1 Retention

Your data is retained on your device for as long as the App is installed. There is no automatic deletion of your data.

6.2 Deletion

You can delete your data at any time by deleting individual expenses within the App, deleting the App from your device (which removes all local data), or disabling iCloud Sync and deleting iCloud data through Apple’s iCloud settings.

6.3 Subscription cancellation

If you cancel your Pro subscription, all your data remains on your device — nothing is deleted. iCloud Sync stops, but previously synced data remains in your iCloud until you manually delete it. You retain full access to your locally stored data.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 9. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the App, please contact us.

8. Security

• All data is stored using Apple’s Core Data framework with encryption at rest
• iCloud data is protected by Apple’s encryption
• No data is transmitted over the internet, except iCloud Sync via Apple’s encrypted CloudKit

9. Your Rights

You have the right to access all your data within the App at any time, export your data as PDF or CSV (Pro), delete any or all of your data, disable iCloud Sync, and opt out of notifications — all at any time.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through an App update. The “Last updated” date above indicates when it was last revised.

12. Apple App Store Compliance

This App complies with the Apple App Store Review Guidelines, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework (we do not track users), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

App Privacy Nutrition Label: Data Not Collected — we do not collect any data linked to your identity. iCloud sync data is associated with your Apple ID but is not accessible by us.
